These methods may include audio or visual elements or both. To effectively communicate health risk information, consideration must be given to the target audience. For this Assignment, you will select and support a communication strategy for different audiences and sectors. Using the current health risk scenario and three different possible audiences and sectors BELOW
The scenario necessary to complete Assignment is:
Highly pathogenic H5N1 influenza virus is spreading across the United States. Those at the highest risk are pregnant women, young children under the age of 5, and adults older than age 65. While the available flu vaccine is expected to work well with this strain, there are limited supplies. The following populations need to be informed about the risk and to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
· Residents of Morningside Nursing Home
· Parents of ABC Preschool
· New immigrants from Nigeria
